About Susan
I spent 50 years becoming a wife, mom, executive, daughter, friend, and responsible adult. Now I’m figuring out who the hell Susan is. Writing about love, life, loss, aging, healing, reinvention, and the occasional WTF.
A Michigan native now living in Georgia, I work as an Director of Business Affairs, where I’ve built a career navigating the business and creative sides of advertising. But I’ve never believed that one career, title, or role should define who we are.
I believe in taking chances, trying new things, and stepping outside my comfort zone. That curiosity led me to launch a podcast, Your Friends Noemi and Susan, and now to my latest adventure, writing my first book, Girl, Pull Up Your Pants.
For me, writing isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about sharing the stories, laughter, mistakes, lessons, and moments that have shaped my life, while hopefully encouraging others to reflect on their own.
At 51, I’m learning that reinvention isn’t necessarily about becoming someone new. Sometimes it’s about becoming more of who we already are. And I’m pretty sure I still have a few chances worth taking and a hell of a lot more stories to tell.
